Job Description

Beinex is looking for the best-in-class Security Consultant for its office in Kochi, Kerala

Responsibilities

    • Operate a hands-on role involving penetration testing and vulnerability assessment activities of complex applications, operating systems, and mobile applications/devices
    • Create and maintain security testing plans/span>
    • Develop meaningful metrics to reflect the true posture of the environment allowing the organization to make educated decisions based on risk
    • Produce actionable, threat-based, reports on security testing results
    • Act as a source of guidance providing training, and support for the company’s product development team
    • Provide mentoring and conduct webinars based on IT security for internal staff and external customers
    • Consult with application developers, systems administrators, and management to demonstrate security testing results, explain the threat presented by the results, and consult on remediation
    • Communicate security issues to a wide range of internal and external customers including technical teams, executives, risk groups, vendors, and regulators

Key Skills Requirements

    • In-depth knowledge of application development processes and proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Scala, C#, Ruby, Perl, Python, PowerShell)
    • Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as OWASP Top Ten, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK and PTES, PCI-DSS, GDPR guidelines
    • Relevant knowledge of Windows client/server, Unix/Linux systems and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
    • Hands-on knowledge to troubleshoot network protocols/packets and systems knowledge
    • Strong understanding of the vulnerability management process in terms of providing optimized recommendations/ solutions and strategies to the client
    • Robust creativity and problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills
