Job Description

 

We are looking for a suitable candidate who can effectively work in the role of an ESG Consultant.

The primary responsibility of the person in the role will be to ideate in the creation of an Enterprise ESG Performance Reporting Application Software from scratch. A facilitating ecosystem of developers, marketers and sales team is there to enable this process. The ideal candidate will engage the clients, analyse the trends in the ESG domain and will have them reflected on the ESG Performance Reporting Application.

The expected background of the candidate

We are in the search for applicants who have a strong interest in both financial markets and sustainable investing, as well as expertise in evaluating/rating equities based on ESG problems. The candidate should have knowledge of governance, environmental, and social issues as well as how to grade ESG issues and their effects on investing process/theory.

Responsibilities

    • Responsible for ensuring the continued development and use of Tracking/ Regulatory/ Reporting Solutions Products.
    • Ideate in the creation of an Enterprise ESG Performance Reporting Application
    • Engage potential clients.
    • Analyse the trends in the ESG domain have them reflected on the ESG Performance Reporting Application.
    • Enhance your understanding of global sustainable finance legislation, both existing and emerging.
    • Utilise regulatory experience to evaluate international ESG regulations and translate these to product specifications, including R&D needs.
    • Monitor changes in environmental and social trends that are sustainable, taking note of major players, key themes, best practices, the regulatory framework, etc.
    • Perform business and user testing on solutions as they are developed, and work with developers on troubleshooting.
    • Assisting teams in responding to client inquiries through meetings, phone calls, and emails
    • Contribute regulatory insights to help with the creation of thought leadership pieces or other content that the company can publish.
    • Contribute to the improvement of company communication and train more employees on regulatory solutions.
    • Develop practical operational procedures and solutions.

Key Skills Requirements

    • 2+ years' minimum relevant experience in product management, research, or consulting. Different, tangentially related experience will also be considered.
    • Degree in a relevant field (such as business, sustainability, environment, or law)
    • Competency in written and spoken English
    • Strong familiarity with regional and international taxonomies, regulatory initiatives, and standards that are pertinent to sustainable finance.
    • The ability to think critically, solve problems; strong analytical capaabilities are essential and central to this role.
    • Client-centered and business-minded strategy formulation capability in a setting that is continuously changing and moving quickly.
    • A strong work ethic and a drive to learn and an intense commitment to sustainability and a clear interest in sustainable financing.
    • Ability to develop a team-based strategy that is in line with the mission, vision, and values of the Aurex team at Beinex.
