Beinex is looking for a passionate SQL Developer to join our expanding team. You will work as part of the team to design and build database structures suitable for storing and retrieving essential data for corporate initiatives quickly and efficiently.
As an SQL Developer, you will be expected to create quick and performant database queries, perform database maintenance activities, and ensure even load distribution as needed. Following best database design and development techniques and remaining up to speed with all essential data security processes and complying with all current data protection regulations will be among your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement procedures and functions using SQL
• Examine and analyse current business report needs
• Gather the necessary information from the business and technical team
• Generate relevant and meaningful reporting deliverables
• Analyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
• Examine existing SQL queries for potential performance enhancements
• Understand the difference between a query that works and performant queries
• Construct data migration methods and scripts
• Deliver planned management reporting on time
• Examine for any anomalies in asset movements
• Conceive and implement SQL based data transformation to produce required sub-datasets
• Should be able to work on multiple data migration projects

Key Skills required

• At least 3+ years of specific experience in ANSCI-SQL platforms
• Previous work experience as an SQL Developer
• Extensive knowledge of the MySQL database
• Expertise in creating SQL queries based on a specified structure and syntax
• Expertise in creating SQL queries based on a specified structure and syntax
• Strong MSSQL development skills (SQL Server, SSIS)
• Understanding of cloud-based data lakes preferred
• Familiar with RDBMS concepts like schema, normal forms, etc
• Proficiency in scheduling tasks to update data, creating back-up, etc
• Excellent communication skills
• Critical thinker and good problem-solver
